Snow on Languedoc vineyards
It just took a few centimetres of snow
to transform the land we know so well into something fascinating
Truly a winter wonderland …
This was in Lagamas last week, in our Carignan vineyard.

Times change …
Last week, I showed you our olive trees, covered in fruit, apparently nestling in spring sunshine …
And now, see for yourselves …
The bleak midwinter has arrived; for how long ?
We’ll see.
The land of the olive …
The olives enjoying their last few hours in the Lagamas sunshine.
Soon they’ll be hand-picked, then gently pressed and transformed into luscious oil …
A bit of a dream to welcome in 2013
A sight for sore eyes, may your spirit float free …
All the best for 2013
May 2013 bring you health, wealth and happiness …
Here at the Domaine, we believe future vintages will inherit the ancestral qualities of these centennial trees !
The first is a green oak protecting the vinification cave, the second a giant olive living between Montpeyroux and St Jean de Fos.
